THE NUMBERS, PUBLISHED STRAIGHT
1 inch diameter, measured not rounded up. 25 feet long. 100% Nylon 66 double braid construction. 31,800 lb minimum breaking strength. 10,600 lb working load limit at a 3:1 safety factor. Approximately 30% elongation under load.
Most tow ropes for trucks advertise only a breaking strength. A working load limit is the figure a recovery professional actually plans around, so we publish both.
HOW A KINETIC ROPE WORKS
Under load the nylon braid stretches, stores the energy of the moving vehicle, then returns it as a long rolling pull. That is what frees a stuck truck without the hard shock a recovery tow strap delivers. A rope that is oversized for the vehicle never elongates, so it behaves like a solid strap. This one is sized for half ton, three quarter ton and one ton pickups, full size SUVs and side by sides.

LIFETIME WARRANTY
Every Wellmax recovery rope is covered for life. If it fails in normal recovery use, we replace it.
SAFETY
Never exceed the working load limit. Inspect the rope before every use and retire it when the braid is cut, glazed or heavily abraded. Keep bystanders clear of the recovery path. Do not attach to a tow ball, a trailer hitch ball or a bumper - use rated recovery points only.
